if that were real, that guy on the balcony would have permanant hearing damage. FA 18s are VERY loud and it is unbareable at prob 50 times that distance. looking at that pic hurts my ears

speculation on the internet is that the photo was "enhanced"
interesting none the less. this is a topic of MANY message forums tonight.
if it is as close as it looks, many of the people in tha building have serious ear damage. apparently the plane never came closer then 300 feet from the shoreline. including the beach i would imagine that plane is AT LEAST 600-800 feet away, not taking into account altitude. that is STILL VERY CLOSE.
interesting none the less. this is a topic of MANY message forums tonight.
