ROFL! that made me laugh. i had a shitty day yesterday.

got woken up in the middle of the night to be told that there was a problem with one of the servers ... come to find out that it had been hacked & rootkit'ed that night. then i had to drive to Atlanta to replace that server (new hardware had been planned for it for a while) - this 610miles drive took me 12 1/2 FUCKING hours. 12 1/2 hours for 610miles ....

THAT AIN'T RITE!

this damn drive used to take me 6 1/2 - 8 hours ... 9 hours at the max when the I-75 bridge in sarasota had blown up due to the fueltanker right near at thanksgiving.

I HATE I-75 in florida ... damn 4 lane highway .. oh ... and its pretty much the only decent way in&out of florida ... unless you consider 19(i think it is) a real highway.

OK .. my off topic rant is over now - hope everybody had a better day than i did.

Gotta love this lounge - funny stuff

Main reason I quit working in Virginia Beach while I lived in Titusville (Kennedy Space Center). 836 miles on I95. Not too bad when I started my commuting in 1999, but by 2003 it was nearly impossible (impassable?). I could time my departure times, however, and always tried to adjust to minimize the the traffic in the Florida section, especially around Jacksonville.

And I always considered myself lucky even back in '99 not to have to use that I4/I75 corridor in central Florida. Thank goodness my kids grew up and I no longer had to go to Micky's house
