Okay, okay.. things are getting out of hand.. Today I went to some shops to buy curtains for my new house..

When I got home I was looking into curtainrail systems to see what would fit our needs.. and somehow I stumbled in an electrical curtainrail system. I am a gadget guy and this is the coolest gadget I have ever seen in a house.

Who has this at his home and uses it? Pros and cons? What kind of brand should I go for (if I can afford it). Or do you say stupid gadget don't get it..

One of the other gadgets I got is a moodlight.. If your in a discomood you can make it flash like the 70's discofloors.. It can turn in any color you like so cool blue yellow or green is also possible..

The only con I can think of is when you have a power outage. rare but it happens. Is there a way to manually open or close it from a power outage.

That is how we all are. We are boys with more expensive toys.

We all know the difference between men and boys... It's the size of their toys!

You know, dutch people are not suppose to draw their curtains. it is one of those things when you walk your dog in the evening; you can look at people's horrible interiours. I always find great pleasure in that.

How about a battery backup? wherever the curtains get power from, install a computer battery backup. It should work fine.
