e60net Formula 1 Discussion Thread

I searched and used advanced search. Nothing comes up for "formula 1" so here we go.
So I thought to get things kicked off I thought I could make up a quick little questionnaire and we can get the ball rolling!
1. Do you watch Formula 1?
1b. If yes do you get up early or do you DVR/Record?
2. Favorite Team?
3. Least Favorite Team?
4. Favorite Driver?
5. Least Favorite Driver?
6. Favorite Track/Venue?
7. Excited for 2009 season?
1. Yes I do!
1b. Combo, I normally DVR but some races I will stay up to watch Live! I always watch all the practice Speed puts on air as well as Qualifying and the Race.
2. BMW Sauber
3. McLaren Mercedes
4. I don't really have a favorite driver. If I was forced to choose it would be one of the older drivers. Maybe Webber. I do like Kubica a lot but I don't see Heidfeld or Kubica really challenging for the title.
5. The golden boy, Lewis Hamilton. He has become the Michael Jordan of F1. There is just too much talk about him. I know he is good. I know he is winning. I know he is a great driver. However I don't need to hear that he is 'The youngest driver to catch a cold during Practice 2, then vomit after getting the pole position and then finish the race 2nd". Enough is enough. I want to see him in a Williams or Toyota and win... Then I will respect him more. He just seems to pompous for such a short time in F1.
6. The boring night street race... Singapore.. snooze. Bring back the old track they keep killing off!
7. YES! Slicks. Adjustable front wing and more! LOTS more teams were making a push towards the end of the season. I hope RBR pulls up and we have a 5 way fight at the front. BMW, Merc, Ferrari, Renault and RBR? That would be awesome!
Oh yah... March 29th!!!!
