Just saw Live Free Or Die Hard ... an excellent movie and a must-see in the theater. 
The E60 plays itself - dressed in Silver Gray Metallic - and is the central character in a key scene.
BMW Assist is a hero too.
A very sharp looking E38 740i sport also has a cameo role.
Go see it.

Live Free was really good - glad to see a sequel made that is actually good. Too bad they used a non-sport 525/530 and not a 550i sport!
I was glad the e60 was in the movie. It was one of the funniest parts to the movie.
Now I have to watch the first two.
