Great pics Ron.

Krosno, huh? What you Dutch guys will do just to save some money on insurance ;-). Those cars really look like a proper East European mafia outfit. Respect. ;-)

Przemek

Hahaha you should have see the other A8 in the pack . Actually i am on polish plates more due to the Dutch special tax when u buy a car - which can go to 25,000 euro on such a car. So it aint about insurance - though thats a nice bonus

When are u in Krakow next? i'll pass buy on my way to Krosno

Hi guys,

i had a great vacation with the family! We (9 of us) rented a luxurious Villa in Calpe Spain. We visited nice places like the Millau bridge (tallest bridge in the world), Monaco - where ferraris are plentiful like VW golfs! I took my e60 (535d Sport) up to the tops of the mountains in Spain and Switserland (those are the sceneric pics that u see) - highest point was some 4000m.

My BMW 535d Sport - tuned to 350HP and 700NM - was absolutely amazing. We were with 3 cars - the other two were an A6 4.2L petrol and A8 4.2L petrol and they simply couldnt keep up with the momentum of the 535d and the ease at which i pulled away from them at the bends in the winding mountain roads. I thoroughly enjoyed the car. Still havent tested the top speed after remapping, but I tried the 0 - 60 acceleration and almost ended up in the back seat!

The pics are of scenery with the car and some pics of us.

Hope u enjoy the pics.

Hey great pictures !!
The villa you stayed in ... was that in Maryvilla ??
I have an appartment in Calp? near the port ... so I know it very well over there ...
But even with my previous X5 I didn't drive up that mountain where you took those pics ... to risky and a hell of a job to turn around ... especially when you know it's 800 meters deep
Do you know Altea Hills ?? I'll post some pics later ...

I'm pretty sure that it's Maryvilla ... by the way ... Maryvilla is also an excellent restaurant ...
Scared isnt the word ... I went once on that hill by car ... but to turn around with an X5 it wasn't that easy ... so now we do it by foot ... much safer ...
On top of Altea Hills you have a magnificant view on Calp? ... I'll post a picture of it ... and yes ... the houses are beautiful ... but I prefer to be close to the sea ... it's to far away ... you always need your car ...
This picture is taken on one of the terraces of our appartment ...

I spend very little time in Krak?w - I'm mostly in Warsaw and sometimes in the Katowice area with industrial clients. Are you per chance involved with the Delphi plant in Krosno? Three guys did an interesting MBO deal on part of the Delphi shock absorber factory there recently.

Best Regards
