I was cleaning one of my HD and i found few pix i downloaded it from www.bmw545i.com

I think one of the very first spy pictures published for the E60.

Those were the days when we were waiting for the final release of the E60 like little babies waiting for their baby food!

Enjoy the memory.

are you sure it is not some very early photoshop?
I'm not quiet sure if this is supposed to a spy pic of the 7er serie or the old 5er serie or a Toyota BMW hybrid or what
I hope that realy must be a photoshop only

For fun, here's some links to Lomag's original site (www.bmw545i.com) using the wayback machine (unfortunately, not all pics or links on the pages will work):

Earliest archive from March 13, 2003:
http://web.archive.org/web/20030331182248/...://bmw545i.com/

Last archive from May 22, 2004:
http://web.archive.org/web/20031001101458/...ts&poll_ident=4

Here are some comments from the poll he conducted about whether or not people liked the new design:
http://web.archive.org/web/20031001093007/...om/comments.php

Lomag sure did a good job posting as much information as possible during the launch of the E60 -- it sure helped me get through my waiting time, that's for sure... Thanks Lomag!

Those pix look photoshopped (...and ugly ) to me, but it is interesting to look back on spy pix & artists renderings of new car models and see how close they came.
