Hey everyone,

Had 15 year old girl show up on my door step calling me Dad! Never knew anything about the kid. Result of a wild moment from my freshman year in college. Court says I have to pay child support to the tune of $1100 a month! Possible retro may apply (180k), lawyer will find out on Monday. Eitherway, looks like the E60 has to go...

2005 525... well cared for.... will post specific soon... a good deal for someone...

Are you serious?

But think on the bright side, you start taking care of her at 15. That's 15 years of savings.

Difficult times

Willyou only have to pay until she's 18. have you had a DNA test to make sure.

Fight the retro - you were unaware and have not made provision for this - had you been aware I'm sure you would have paid.

As for the car - I'm sure she'd like to be picked up by her daddy in an e60

Good luck

Wow. What a shock this must be ... but how interesting to meet a daughter at 15.

You better try and keep the E60 - she will need something to drive when she's 16.

Trust me, not an April Fools joke. When my wife found out and blew up, I had to spend three hours at the Police station explaining why a 4 foot Japanese woman was so pissed and throwing dishes around the house. We have one 4 year old in private school, violin lessons, and saturday Japanses school, and my wife is due in September with our second and starts medical school next fall. The BMW has to go!

as for the kid, the mother doesn't want much to do with me, she just wants the money. Judge called it an "Ambush" case. I'm fighting the retro and $300 a month daycare bill for a 15 year old! Lawyer is unsure how the judge will go. I'm taking KY just in case.

But here in Colorado, laws are EXTREMELY strict for domestic issues. If I have to pay retro, I'll send you guys post cards from the nearest non-extradiction country. Price ticket to Phuket now... There is no bright side to this.

Thanks for letting me vent!

Good luck on a personal level - it's going to take some working out, but you have a daughter, which can't be bad.

In terms of the retro child support - can this be right. It sounds like her mother didn't want to tell you about her, so you missed out on 15 years...can't be right to ask you to find this sort of money, if you'd known then things would have been different. You could have saved money over the years to help out, but you didn't know.

Also ?1100 dollars is a lot to find.... I guess some families live on that.

I hope it all works out....good luck

Can't you sue her back for depriving you the right of being a father and witnissing your daughter growing up for 15 years?
