Saw a E55 today. He kept tring to race me (545). Of course I didn't want to embarrass myself. <_<
When will my big brother M5 be out? Stand up for me.....

Probably a smart move to not race him. Those motors have some grunt to them!
I will say that I spent two days driving various AMG cars (S55, E55, C55, CLK55, SL55, SLK32) around a racetrack last weekend and spent much of that time driving the E55.
Aside from the abundance of horsepower with the M-B, the 545 is simply more fun, more nimble, more stable, etc. Each day, after driving the AMG's hard on a racetrack, I would pull out of the parking lot in my car and simply grin from ear to ear. Active steering, SMG, active roll, etc. makes a huge difference. Also, the overall ride in the E60 felt more stable and solid.
It'll be nice when the E60 M5 comes out -- it's good to be the King!

Racetrack Must be fun.
Me and my freinds have been thinking about going to racetrack. I haven never been there before.
Is it very safe to race there?

If you are in the US, you can participate in local driving schools through the BMW CCA or through the SCCA.

Yes, it is safe if it's organized.
If you want to make a few laps on "the ring" over here in Germany it's not really safe, because everybody can drive there. But if you have it organized though BMW or ADAC or another company it is safe.
And it is a lot of fun!!!
If you have a chance to do it somewhere in the US, go for it, you won't regret...
