So I was parking my car next to a sporting goods store in my neighborhood this morning and on my usual walk-around after I've parked I noticed that one of my tires was very close to a plastic bag. The plastic bag contained none other than dog-shit.
I saw it, so when I was pulling out, I didn't hit it at all, but it got me thinking:
IF DOG SHIT DECOMPOSES NATURALLY IN A MATTER OF WEEKS (I don't know exactly - maybe months), but plastics take thousands upon thousands of years to decompose back into natural ellements, what the fuck is the logic of making all the dog owners put their dogs' shit into plastic bags?!
Considering that - at least around where I live - nobody seems to bother to throw the shit into the garbage - or whatever is the proper way to dispose of it - they just throw it on the roads, the sidewalks, the lawns, etc. etc. Where's the fucking logic in this world???
As George Carlin used to say "I get pissed, Goddamit! I get pissed!"

I'm pretty sure the plastic used for the "Doggy Waste" is a type that decomposes MUCH faster then a standard plastic bag!

the only reason for putting dog crap in a plastic bag is to get the crap out of a place where it would bother other people, in a park, sidewalk, etc, which is supposed to be followed by placing the crap in the garbage. OBVIOUSLY if someone puts the crap in a bag and then just leaves the bag on the ground, it completely defeats the purpose of putting it in the bag in the first place. if i am walking through the woods and my dog craps, it is not getting picked up. if he craps on a sidewalk downtown, it is getting bagged and thrown in the nearest garbage pale or dumpster, unless i am in like flint Michigan or east st Louis.

We have special "plastic" bags for decomposing waste and I'm sure you have those over there too! They decompose as fast as, let's say, a paper towel.
One brand is called "HAUSKA", and for a Finnish guy it's quite amuzing brand name
.
It comes from the words "HAU", which is a Finnish version for "WOOF", and "PASKA" = "SHIT", and the result, "HAUSKA" is a Finnish word that means "FUNNY".
I know.... The joke is a bad one if you have to explain it

What Anzafin said is correct, I use them when I walk my dog. My biggest pet peeve is when people don't pick up after their dog, but simply leaving the plastic bag in the street without simply dropping in the garbage is a close second...

Yep, we do have a broad range of subjects here on the E60.net Forum.

Its the lounge, so its everything goes hahaha
Anza, that dogsh8t joke - I got it, and its kinda funny that they just have a product by that name. But you know, Finland is like one of the cleanest countries in the world! When my stepfather (he's Finnish, I don't remember if I told you) came to New York, he was like "What the F*CK?" with all the dirt here. I'm not even gonna change the subject to the roads and potholes here!!! That's like a whole 'nother story, but let me just say its comparable to Russia, ok!
And yeah, I'm sure they got doggy shit bags that decompose fast, except around here nobody uses them - everyone just uses regular plastic bags from a grocery store. And whether you place them in the garbage or not - does not matter, because its still gonna decompose for thousands of years. The only good thing is that I'll be long gone when all this plastic decomposed and several thousand years-old shit hits the planet!!!

The bag is not meant to accelerate or decelerate the speed of decomposition. The bag's purpose is to allow for easy removal or to at least prevent the unfortunate transfer of poo from your dog to my shoe.
That being said...leaving a bag of poo is probably equivalent to not picking up your trash, littering out the window, or just being a common inconsiderate prick.
At least the shit is not on my shoe!
