I am just curious if anyone has every used discounttires.com (not to be confused with discounttire.com)

The tires on their website are a lot cheaper than any other online tire place I have seen..

thanks a lot!

well, i'm from a small town. Pretty much the only tire installers in town are Discount Tire, BigOTires and Wal-Mart...I got my last set of wheels mounted at wal-mart and had no problems at all, and they are a WHOLE lot cheaper than any other place....

Have used the on-line sites for leverage in negotiating with local tire giants (Discount and Belle), and based on costs of shipping and requested speed balancing for installation, I rolled with Discount Tire in January (which happens to have a location 2.5 miles from home, Belle has a spot a half mile from home, but they weren't as aggressive in their pricing as Discount). When it was all said and done, the on-line prices plus installation search was comparable with the one stop shop, and I just went with the convenience factor.

I rolled with the Continental (ContiTouring) all seasons which were OE on my rig. Quite pleased.

I used to use TireRack.com (I live in Sparks, NV, so I was able to pick-direct from their DC - No Shipping), but now I go to Discount tire. They are cheaper, and install them.
