You know it's weird. Maybe it was me, but when I saw some of the Hartge Splitters on a few of the M5's at the meet, they did not fit very well. I pointed it out to some other members and they agreed. Try and get as many shots as you can of this splitter on an actual car. If this is going on a light colored car, I'd be even more concerned. I saw it on an AW M5 and a SS M5 and both had fitment issues. It didn't look flush in certain areas, which made it look cheap, esp on a car like that. I can't recall how Tony's(Eurocarfan) fits on his car because his is black and every time I see it in person, it's dark out, but just thought I would share this.

true dat...

My g/f is recommending I don't get a splitter. But I feel that something is missing on the car.. Bah!!

Maybe I get the Hamann rep from John and don't tell her.. and hope she doesn't notice. how much is it again??

Hey C, when u put the splitter on, how did u do it? self tapping screws? bolts? I want to be able to put it on in the summer and take it off in the winter.

Let me know dude.

I love my splitter. totally transforms the front end. get compliments all the time. i would do it. i think it's around $500 or $600 painted and shipped.

i got the splitter 2 or 3 months ago, but didn't install it until recently. i tried to get it past the wife, but our driveway is steep and she would have ripped it off, if i didn't tell her about. however, i did tell her that it was a bumper guard to protect the m-tech bumper and she bought that story. hahahaha. i also told her it was $50! and she bought that too. love it!

as for mounting it, i used elmers glue. just kidding. i got various kinds of screws from home depot and had my mechanic guy install it. looks great and love it.

get it!
