Dick Clark has been an institution on New Year's for like 36 yrs and has made an excellent recovery from a stroke, but he needs to let the New Year's eve thing go.

I must agree, though I've watched him my entire life and am glad he was able to survive and keep up with somewhat normal speech, it was surely sad to see how the stroke has physically crippled him, it definitley was a joykill to hear him speak so weakly

He's made an incredible recovery all things considered, and the Nyears eve show may have been a driving force to that end.
