I've travelled the world and would be hard pressed to name a place with better ambience, food and service than:

+1.

The food is top notch and the service is unparalleled. Bacco is less than 1 mile from my office. We entertain clients there from time to time and make it a point of having lunch on the patio a few times a month during the summer.

Proprietors are also launching a second restaurant down the road, a gourmet (but casual) pizza restaurant.

Damn, next time I go visit my family I'm definatly going to check that place out.
It's got to be about 5 min from my mothers house.
But I haven't been home in some time. Time to make some plans

thanks for posting

You're one lucky dude. I am sure you are proud of that place. It is impressive. I think the Detroit greater metropolitan area has made tremendous strides yet it is rarely recognized in the media. A shame but only the "bad", crime, drugs, rape seem to sell...Many cities have gone through some noteworthy improvements like Pittsburg, Kansas City, Des Moines and the list goes on and on. I think Humana is quite happy with it's corporate location there.

I pass by there on a daily basis. I've never heard much about the place but with all the praise you're giving it, I'll have to check it out next weekend. I'll let you know what I think.

Making a call to make a reservation for either lunch or dinner is always a good idea to make sure you can get a table. Otherwise, you may have to dine in the booths at the bar(which is not necessarily a bad thing, just wanted to give you a heads up).
