i dont get why la has 2 teams, they just sell the clippers and put that money into an la nfl team, that would bring in sooo many spectators

because only the nfl asks the taxpayers to build their insane stadiums. FORGET THAT!

on a side note, i've heard of an investment group that has plans for a stadium that's built into a hill or something to reduce costs, and could have a team here soon.

on topic though....baron davis to clippers is a great move, as long as they keep brand and/or maggete. otherwise it's another season down the drain. baron davis can't carry a team into the western conference playoffs.

I can't believe it, I'm mad at Baron for all that bullshit talk saying he wants to stay here and all that and then leaves. He held out last minute to opt out and couple days later he signs with another squad. On the other hand, he did bring back the excitement back to the Bay since both football teams are garbage right now (still GO RAIDERS!). I'm still salty at the Warriors organization about J-Rich getting traded. Being a die hard fan, I'm getting use to seeing this happen all the time to the Warriors. I'm very torn about this situation but I hope Mullin and the rest of the organization can make some super moves to get us back to the top..
Coming back to his home town.

He is a Bruin baby, he never belonged up there.

Well oh well.....looks like Elton Brand is on his way to the 76ers. And Corey Magette to the Warriors!

The difference between what the 76ers is offering versus the Clippers offer is less than $10 million. Brand wants to go to the east, so might as well take the $$.

I guess it's all about the mighty dollar

Is it official?

Is so, Brand is an ass. He told the Clippers he would sign for less money, if they added some key players. He even sweet talked Baron to come back to LA.

Hahaha I really thought Brand was going to stay with adding Baron. That was a possible playoff contender squad.

The best line I ever heard about the Clippers with regard to player and coach movements...."Replacing a coach or players on the Clippers is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic!!"

It's all over ESPN, Baron Davis left the Warriors to sign with the LA Clippers for a 5 yr deal at $65 million.

I remember the "good ole days" when the Raiders were actually on top with the likes of Florida's Freddy Biletnikoff and Kenny Stabler- wonder if that excitment will return soon? Where'd John Elway go, anyway?
