I was coming home with my newly installed front lip and rear diffuser. Started POOOUURRRING. It was literally like driving under Niagara Falls! I have never seen such a HUGE rainfall within 5 minutes. Everywhere was flooded instantly. I was like. SHIT! My freakin roof is probably dinged cuz it sounded like hail!!!!! People put on their hazards on the highway driving under 10 mph. I cant even see the car in front of me! I got of the my exit and went under the BQE to check my car. No dings and my dirt and grim was all washed off except there was sand all over my freshly painted lip. Poured water all over the lip and it was fine. My friend said in Flushing was crazier with people blown to the ground, trees pulled, LIRR was gone! What a crazy day!

When I lived down in South Carolina, we used to get these torrential downpours - ain't no joke, bro! And I worked delivering pizza there, while I went to college, so I'd be like the only driver still out on deliveries, when it would come down hard.

I saw the picture on the news last night. It was crazy. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt.

I read the news. A tractor trailer flipped and fell onto a car on the BQE right in front of Battery Tunnel. It was crazy

One person died in a car. The news reported that a lady was driving in a 2010 Lexus Sedan and a tree fell on it and killed her instantly. That was bad. And what's worst is the news doesnt know shit about cars. I glanced at the picture of the "car." It's a 2001 Lexus RX300!

Sounds like rainy season in Costa Rica. Each "drop" was like a pitcher of water.

in all honestly

I believe crazy weather is only going to get crazier and crazier UNTIL May 2013; why?

May 2013 is when the solar (our sun) cycle peaks; our weather will only get worse until then; from there it should get progressively better.

CMEs from the sun occasionally hits our planets magnetic field, causing huge magnetic shifts and other unknown variations that scientists have postulated could effect the planets atmosphere and thus the weather. Some go even as far to conclude that the magnetic field is even connected to the tectonic plates; meaning a crazy sun == some crazy earthquakes as well -- kind of like the the parts of the earth make up the whole?

If you are interested check out spaceweather.com

Take it with a grain of salt and some reasonable doubt but there are reasons why those 50K USD underground shared bunkers are selling like hotcakes....
