My Ride: 2006 525XI, Jet black on Dakota beige. Premium and winter packages. I consider myself a purist and intend to keep my car absolutely stock and shiny.
2008 328I Convertible, Sapphire black on beige interior. Premium package, NAV, iPod adapter.
Retired: 2002 325I, Titanium silver on black leather. Premium package. Absolutely stock and proud of it.
Congratulations to the NY Yankees because it looks like they will win the world series. Finally, years and years of having the highest payroll in the league has paid off. Enjoy your championship. See you in 9 years.....

I love these comparisons of payroll, the Yankees are the most valuable franchise in baseball. I terms of ratio of value to payroll the Yankees maintain a fairly reasonable payroll compared to the $1.5B worth of the team (as compared to the second most valuable baseball team - the Red Sox at $900M). So the other teams are either a) crybabies or b) jealous.

As a non-native New Englander, I couldn't care less if the Red Sox win or lose. Actually I'm not a real fan of baseball; I just like to bust chops.
Knowing many and many native New Englanders, I can assure you that very few people are really watching the W.S. Maybe they channel surf, at best, to catch the score secretly hoping for a Yankees loss, but other than that, nobody here is even talking about the W.S.
Now, those Giants, they are going to win the Super Bowl, for sure.
