All new this morning.

H&GHD 229 Home and Garden HD
FDHD 231 Food Network HD
CNNHD 234 CNN HD
SFIHD 236 Sci Fi HD
HSTHD 237 History HD
DISHD 239 Discovery HD (in addition to Disc HD Theater)
TLC 240 TLC HD
APLHD 241 Animal Planet in HD

Wow, they might have a reason for people to stay off the FiOS. I know their lineup, it's not at this level.

That makes 34 available HD channels - one of which is the HD ON DEMAND.

I think that's still some way behind DirecTV which has over 90 HD channels.

I guess those are new to you in your area. We've had most (if not all) of those channels already (but I can't say exactly when they were added...)

I'm thinking that the competition from FiOS in my area is forcing Comcast to keep adding things, etc. so the competition is a great thing!

This is new for Comcast??? Man, they are way behind. Cablevision/Optimum has had these HD channels for some time now. However, the one channel they don't have out yet is the Travel Channel in HD. This is a no-brainer, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time before it is avail in HD.

I barely ever watch non-HD stations anymore. I just wish EVERY channel was HD. Then, I would never leave my house. Wait, that would suck...then I would never drive my Bimmer.

I think they may have only been way behind were UURonL lives. They're probably adding these channels to markets that have more competition (like FiOS) so I'm betting that UURonL's area either just got FiOS or is getting it soon...

UURonL, does that sound right?

Possibly... FiOS has been here a while though. I have seen the lineup on FiOS and other carriers, while there are differences, I don't see any real shortcomings.

Entire HD lineup...

ABCHD
NBCHD
CBSHD
FOXHD
CWHD
WDCHD
WETAHD (PBS)
A&EHD
NATHD
DIHDT (Disc HD Theater)
MOJO
MHD
HBOHD
H&GHD
HDOND (HD On Demand)
FDHD (Food)
TBSHD
MAXHD
CNNHD
USAHD
SFIHD
HSTHD
SHOHD
DISHD
TLC
APLHD
NFLHD
STzHD
TNTHD
UNIHD
CSNHD (Comcast SportsNET)
ESPHD
ES2HD
CCHD

What am I missing?

Also, isn't the 90 channel number on DirecTV mostly counting regionals and subscription-based HD channels broadcasting only events like Sunday Ticket games? I have seen the lineup on DirecTV - there isn't a whole lot more as far as I can tell.

We've had those for a couple of months in Loudoun county. But I'm still chomping at the bit for FiOS.

There is quite a bit more. DirecTV has 60 national channels, 4 local broadcast channels, 11 regional sport channels, 15 HD PPV channels and a few legacy DNS channels. 4 more channels on the horizon.

Looks like there was a significant bump in bandwidth too - the image looks much better. There must have been an upgrade to the infrastructure to support the additional channels and bw.
