Are there any cigar smokers on here?
And recently started with cigars when I was vacationing in Clearwater Beach, FL.
I'm a n00b at this, but here's a few I've tried a few so far:
- Montecristo
- Nording
- Arturo Puente
- La Aurora Ruby 1903

I enjoy smoking cigars, but with the wife and kids around I don't get to smoke often.. recently I've been buying cigarillos for a quick smoke while out drinking. For cigarillos, I like Romeo Y Julieta, Partagas, and Ashton. I've bought a box of H.Upmans and Arturo Frentes when each of my kids were born to pass out to friends. JR Cigars www.jrcigars.com is a good online store for cigars. I've also bought these cool Hoyo De Monterey 8-cigar gift boxes from JR Cigars for Christmas presents.

How fast/slow do these burn compared to your regular Churchill cigars? I find that regular cigars take too long to smoke when taking the dogs out for a quick walk around the block.
And how do I go about search for these at JR Cigars? I tried searching for "cigarillos" and the results weren't quite obvious to me.
Thanks!

You can typically pick up cigarillos at your local cigar shop.. even places like Beverages & More (if you have them in TX), or your neighborhood liquor store sometimes have a cigar humidor.. the liquor stores usually carry name brand too like Partagas, Romeo Y Julieta.. since a single pack of 8 cigarillos cost ~$10 I don't usually buy cigarillos from JR cigars.. if you wanted to still, do a search for "miniature" on JR Cigars.. for Partagas miniatures they sell them as 10 packs with 8 cigarillos per pack.. good price if you want to buy in bulk.. but if you just want one pack for now and then, check your local stores..
cigarillos are definitely a nice quick smoke, perfect for when you are out walking the dog or sipping on a scotch on the rocks.. otherwise I would get a Robusto size which tend to be shorter in length than Churchill size cigars.. also.. get yourself a table-top humidor.. plenty of them on Ebay.. great place to store cigars and keep them fresh... I'm a noob to cigars too, but hopefully this helps...
