In case you were wondering, a Mustang GT has nothing on a 545. At least not at freeway speeds, I found out today on the 15 in Diego. Not even close

All of the cheaper cars (compared to our cars) like Infiniti, Mustangs... are all designed to have a fast 0-60 times because people in Infiniti's and Mustangs somehow feel the need to floor it at every single light they get to. That is all they are designed to do...race to 60 and then bog down. I know we are talking about Mustangs here but I will use the Infiniti G37S as an example. It has a 330hp V6 that gives it a 0-60 in 5.3 - 5.5. It only has 270lbs-ft of torque though, compared to the 545i's 330lbs-ft of torque. That's a difference of 60lbs-ft...and that makes a big difference once you up in the higher digits.

Nope. It's HP that matters when you're up in the higher digits. A modern F1 engine actually produces less torque than your 545. It's all about HP, RPM and gearing once you're motoring.

Have to say the 545 is indeed fast. I really didn't notice a massive difference when I got the 550, frankly the 545 felt just as quick. I always felt the 545 felt like it had more that 325 horses and the 550 had less than 360. Torque and HP are directly related anyway so you can argue you were at least half right!

Hehe you should meet my friend. He owns a G37S and races at every stop light.
He also does not know how to drive...never checks his blind spot...and drove for about 20 minutes with his lights off at night...

this is so funny, i was just driving home and a black shitstang gt came up next to me and rev'd his engine at me. At this point we were going about 45mph, it was a 40mph zone. He continues to rev his piece of garbage at me, so i simply gave the brakes a stern tap and watched the tard fly past me.

Its always a car of 16-19 year olds out cruising. I understand the e60 is more of a sporty sedan but seriously this is two r-tards in just as many nights. Its going to be really annoying when i buy my 6'er
