Jerry, how about I pay Darwin the balance for you and you give me the hood. LOL!!!
That thing looks sweeeeet! Just can't really justify buying a brand new one.

I'm glad Jerry ended up being a stand up guy and all is resolved.
I mean, guys, we all know - shit happens - you can unexpectedly get medical bills (God forbid), you can be called to active duty - things come up. This is just another lesson that you should never go def-com 3 on someone you owe - find a way to resolve things, communicate.
Now, who wants to help me get 3 g's from the asshole that owes it to me for like 3 years already? Darwin? Wish my debtor was on this forum too, so I could call him out like this...

ha, the government owes me about 3K from a 2 month trip (temporary duty) to the DC area when i was in the military. I never got it. who wants to help take on the US government? haha. actually, they were going to pay me, but barack obama just gave all of the money away.
Now, that's just fucking wrong, bro! I've never been in service, so I don't know how these things work, but I'd imagine there's gotta be a channel to go through, no? If not, its really even more fucked up then I thought.
At least I'm owed the dough by a guy I used to work for and his company ran out of money (amazingly enough, this is actually pretty similar, except in my case its not the Gov't). I told him I'll take it to court and he said "go ahead". I did some research and found out the guy can actually go to jail for something like this, so I just let it go - he's got a family, 2 kids - I'm not gonna be that guy that does some shit like put a father of two young kids to jail - even if its for a couple of weeks. So I figured, sooner or later, the circle will close and he'll come across me again - it is a small world. Hopefully, I won't have to remind him...
