California roads said to be the worst in America???

My Ride: 545 modded the F out
I havent really drivin around the San Jose area in a while, but I am still fairly familiar with all of the streets in Cali... Nor and So Cal. Am I missing something? They are saying Cali has the worst roads in America??
We even beat out NYC?

My Ride: 530I Silver gray with gray leather with Premium Package, Logic 7 Premium sound system with Ipod interface, xenon adaptive headlights, Active steering, Power retractable rear sunshade, Comfort seats, Cold weather package and M5 OEM 166 wheels, Sprintbooster. Ceramic Tint all around, Bilstein Sports shocks with Eibach springs, Brake performance Rotors and Axxis ceramic pads.
I certainly don't agree with that stat. I am frequent traveller in California and I always admire how good the roads are atleast in comparison to Chicago roads. Our roads here are far more need of repairs. During winter time, the snow plows just tear up the roads. Literally some potholes can swallow your wheels.

my roads way up in nor cal are great and a few are in top 3 in the u.s for best motorcycle roads to ride actually so i dont see how this article is true either. there is a new post daily on here about n.y. roads bending cracking rims. 
id be pissed if i lived in n.y. and have to deal with that shit constantly.
