Cali gas prices
How's everyone in Cali dealing with the gas prices? Has it started hurting your wallet at all? Its probably relatively less than the money we spend on our cars and mods but it adds up. I'm sure the prices will continue to rise everywhere due to the crazy inflation of the dollar and QE3. I've come close a couple of times of picking up a m5, but I couldn't do it when I thought of how much money I'd waste in gas getting 9mpg. Its gotta be brutal for the m5 owners with $6 gas and 9mpg. I guess thats the realty we face where a item that is used by everyone and everything is controlled by speculators on the market creating fear and profiting off it.

It's a damned shame to see an Arco costing more than a Chevron. Wow. We in Cali are so fortunate. Our gas is a 'special' formulation that ostensibly reduces emissions. Problem is stations can't purchase refined fuel from neighboring states, no matter how much cheaper it may be. So, whenever the system farts, we tend to pay a much steeper price for it.
