Yes...although depends on your definition of "win"...will they take $2 for a veyron?

If the facts of the case are actually as stated in the article, the plaintiff will almost certainly win and should be entitled to interest.

Question is, why would Bugatti not want to sell this guy the car? Production is obviously limited, but not to the extent that a simple commitment to deliver a 7 figure car to a paying customer would be impossible to honor. Something doesn't add up. Not sure which side of the story is not quite as it appears, but there's certainly a back story to this...

Righto.

You have touched on my qualification that if the facts indeed are as reported. The only other reason for the alleged delay that I can think of is if Bugatti is hsving delays in production.

Who wouldn't want a car that if you change the tires, you have to get new lug nuts and at 60,000, they have to basically take the car apart in half to service it. And the special Michelin tires something like $25,000 per set. I also read in car mags that the tires basically have zero traction in the rain because the thread depth is ultra short to prevent separation of the tread from the tires at the hyper-speeds that the car can travel.

Then again, what other street legal production car has over 1000 bhp and can exceed 250 mph?

I'd most certainly like to get myself one of them Volkswagen Gallardos or Volkswagen Murcielagos. I'd quite like one of them VW GT Continentals too. I might even be tempted by the VW R8 V10.

And I'm very happy with my VW 911.

Hmmm. With $1.55 million to throw away, what would I buy .... a Veyron? Not in a million years. Here's how I'd spend it:

a $1 million dollar luxury home (yes you can get a really big luxury home for that if it's not in LA, London, Paris, NYC etc.
a $100k 911 Carrera 2S convertible
a $100k M5 Touring
a $40k Caterham 7
a $50k Touraeg V10 TDi
a $10k Honda CBR600F
a $5k Quadbike
a $5k Jetski
a $20k home visual/audio/computer system
$100k of top notch furnishings for the house
and a few round the world vacations

I'm pretty sure I didn't reach 1.5 mill there and I can't be bothered to add it up.
