I am going to be getting a full license soon. Was looking on some ways to improve my driving and learn some new things. A couple of people suggested the BMW Teen Driving School.
Do any of you guys have any experience with this program? Is it worth the $800? Drivers ED costs $600 here so its not that different.
Any discounts on your insurance?
It sure looks fun!

Back in the day my dad would take me to an empty parking lot and let me play around with his car to get a feel for what it can do.
When I was in Germany I attended a defensive driving course that let you practice hard cornerning, CV turning, slalom, the "moose test", and hard braking. They even had a wet skid pad where a hydraulic wheel would kick out the rear end and you can practice controlling your car during a sideways skid. I had my T-Blazer back then and I was WORKIN' the steering wheel to keep from spinning out. I would have loved to drive an X5 on the course.
At the end of the day I had a much better understanding of what my car could and couldn't do. If this $800 course doesn't do anything close then I wouldn't spend my money on it.
