I was looking at the new Audi A8 pictures, and the interior is beautiful.The exterior, though is really bland.
I don't know about the driving dynamics but the F01 interior is not as pretty as the Audi's.

IMO Audi always had better interiors. BMW closed the gap somewhat with the LCI models, but I still prefer the Audi design.
