Default BMW E91 M3 Conversion (1st and ONLY in the US.. for now)

Hey guys,

It's been quite sometime since I've been on this forum and I figured it would be interesting for any of you who remember me to see what I've been up to. I still miss my beautiful E60 (pictured below in the signature), but as you will see, I've replaced it with something a little more interesting and unique. The wagon was purchased specifically for a daily driver in the harsh, pot hole filled, and large dipped roads of Los Angeles. I drive anywhere from Pasadena to Hawthorne, to LAX, mid city, Wilshire area, Ktown, and anywhere else where the traffic is always jam packed and almost unbearable to say the least. That is the price I pay for working and going out in LA, but it's my hometown and I love it.

Now as a daily driver you would assume... KEEP THE CAR STOCK!! But crazy as I am.. I went down this road and transformed the car to what you see now.

Anyways... I just wanted to share a few photos of my US spec E91 M body conversion painted in Porsche GT3 RS Grey Black. I was a demo car for WORK Wheels USA @ Bimmerfest 2013. It was an honor working with them and here is what I have to share for now.

Specs:
WORK Emotion CR Ultimate
19x9.5 +25
19x10.5 +22
5x120

This is an ongoing project that also serves as my DD. I just installed a Recaro Sportster CS seat and have a BMW Performance steering wheel waiting to get in.

This conversion was completed almost 1 year ago, and for the anniversary I'll have a few more updates. This is the first and ONLY M3 conversion in the US for now. I personally know another M3post/E90post member that is planning on doing a similar conversion. Only OEM M3 parts were used in the conversion, including the rear quarter panels. Engine is original until the time is right..

Any comments and critique are welcome. Thanks for looking and enjoy!

For reference, here is what my car looked like when first purchased. The first thing done within a week of owning the car was lowering it on ST coilovers and slapped on some OEM Euro spec M3 mirrors. Since then I have upgrade to KW V2's coilovers.

"Engine is original until the time is right.."

Car looks great! Seems to be a lot of money to put into a wagon but it is definitely original...
