So, BMW just announced that they bought Sauber and will have their own F1 car starting next year.
What do you think, will they be more siccessfull than Williams?

Interesting. I think they could be entering a very difficult and costly past time.
I reckon Toyota (as a company) could afford to throw any amount of cash (and I have a suspcion that they would have an F1 budget that could dwarf anything that BMW could muster) and it has taken them a long time to achieve what they've done so far.
I hope they realise what they are getting themselves in to.
However, on saying all that, if they believe that F1 could change fundamentally in the future (possibly accelerated by te US fiasco) than it might be a smart move.

I wonder if the new car will have i-drive.
Seriously, I am hopeful it's a good move. I think the Williams-BMW results have been mediocre at best.

I've heard that F1 may be goingback to manual gearboxes in future.
Now that would sort out the men from the boys!

The new BMW will have ctrl-alt-del buttons...
More successfull than Williams? Depends on what tires they'll drive...
Seriously, this was a rumour for some time now, so it's not surprising. Good news I think.

Sauber couldn't be competitive with a Ferrari engine in the back, what is BMW thinking?
Having a BMW lump, no matter how powerful, won't make up for a poor chassis. I think this is a big mistake for BMW.
This is Theissen's ego running ahead of his brain.
Just my opinion.
