Now that's a surprising turn of event..... I know RIM was facing problems, but not to this extent

not sure if it's RIM being desperate or the competitor acknowledging some BBM users reluctance to switch brands as they don't want to lose BBM. Now some might say, kik or other messenger apps are the same, but honestly they are not, I've tried a few and ended up deleting them all. Some say why not just text, but again, it's not the same IMO...
But like anything else, you'd get used to living without it i guess....should be interesting to see if this does in fact increase non RIM phone sales. RIM is definitely "behind" a bit in phone gadgetry, but form and function still goes to RIM in my book...
