My Ride: F13 M6
just thought id update on the subject. well after 2 months i had my e60 as my daily drive because my mom started using my ML since the 300E broke down.. already thought of just letting it go.. possibly surrendering the car to dmv for a grand, then we just decided to give it one more chance and try and fix it.
the car has been at a shop ever since for 2 months. they worked fast and rebuilt the whole engine for 4k. picked it up today with my parents. and aside from some vibrations during idle and at a stop its running great. they looked so happy just to see the car running. the guy said to bring in the car after 500 miles to change the oil again.
im happy that the car is back and all especially that my parents love it so much.. but damn.. my 530i goes back to the garage and i go back driving the ML. i mean yeah its a car i love it too but.. i love my 530i more haha. back to barely using the bimmer and only on some weekends. as for the 300E, so far so good. we'll see how it goes.
