Nope I went by reading many reviews. I'm very happy with both of them.
Interesting...

I may have to buy some really good noise cancelling headphones just for flying.
Does anyone know which are the best noise cancelling without playing music?
Cause the Beats by Dre are great for music but noise cancelling really isnt there.

Both the Bose Quiet Comfort 2 and the Sennheiser PXC 450 are very effective at cancelling noise. I've owned them both and fly all the time.

hell kobe might even get paid to wear those into the games...

yea headphones over a g would be nice but at a certain point your ear cant notice certain little sounds here and there. but still obviously cool headphones. i just asked my boyfriend about his and he says his sennheisers were around 400 when he got them. im sure those sound really good and they look pretty sweet. i'd rock those laker colored ones.
Kobe Bryant allegedly got the Lakers fined 10K for rockin his purple-and-gold Beats By Dre headphones at a recent press conference.

I bet Monster will pay for his fine though. Great advertising for them.

If you want really fine headphones , than go for these ones:

Sennheiser HP

I use them for DJ'ing....
IMO best headphones, also with Ipod....
The pricing is not that high, here in Germany about 150?...

bye ,
Ivano

I own the Sennheiser PXC 450 noise cancelling headphones. They are well-made and very, very good. I travel on planes a lot and they are very effective at noise cancellation and music playback. Their treble and mid-range is strong. The bass is fine but not as strong as the Bose QC2. The Sennheisers are much much better made and more durable than the QC2s. I've had both.
