There are threads that give good info about M/F, median age, and family-income ranges. You could infer average-family income from the range data.

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets. First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.

I was 23 and making about $200/month, plus room and board (Army basic training) when I bought my first BMW, a 1971 2002. In 1987, as an executive for a large NY utility, I bought my first high performance 5 series (the original 535iS, 5 speed). Despite changes in the interim, I haven't looked back, on either count. (You can get the details in Who's Who, if you are really interested.. .

average age = 48

average household income = $175,000

67% male / 33% female
