My Ride: 2004 545i 6spd, blk on blk, HRE 540R 20x9 in front and 20x10 in rear with Pirelli PZero Neros 245/25/20 front and 295/25/20 rear. H&R springs, and Eisenmann quad exhaust, V! radar detector, black grille, limo tint all around.

I just got a fix it ticket for tinted windows and no front license plate, and I was wondering if anyone knows any LAPD or CHP officers in L.A. Please help me out guys I really don't want to have to strip my tint and have it re-tinted and go down to the courthouse to get it signe off. Thanks guys.

I thought with those type of tickets you could now just pay the fine (about $125 each) and not have to make the correction / or make the correction and just pay the processing fee (about $10 each)

I do however believe that the fine is escalating so the next time may cost you more

I thought so too. But apparently I can't just pay the fine anymore. I was told that I have to get the violations corrected.

For the front plate...I received one too in Santa Monica...I simply used double stick tape to attach my front plate holder...put the plate on...went to the Huntington Beach police station...had the ticket signed off...and then took my plate off again. Of course with the tint...that's another story.

That happened to me before and when I went to the CHP office, the piggy looked at my front plate and ripped it off, then told me that I had to have it screwed on so it can't be ripped off. As for my tints, it'll probably cost around $100 to have it taken off and re-tinted (hopefully). Does anyone know if the tickets can be signed off by any cops or does it have to be CHP or Sheriff's Dept.?
