The movie was good but a little disappointed. I think there was too much involvment in the transformations and I know it would not have been as cool but Bumblebee was not a camaro, he was a VW beetle.

I saw Transformers the day it came out with my nagging g/f who didn't want to see. I think she was looking forward to seeing Ratoutille or whatever that rat movie was called...She came out of the movie theater pretty impressed. I loved the movie since I grew up on Transformers. The name 'Optimus Prime' was always cool to me, but the name 'The Decepticons' was also just as cool 
I've always had a feeling Transformers was a reiteration of the Japanese 'Gundam'
