This movie was awesome. The CGI was absolutely stunning. The movie plot was somewhat bad but everything else makes up for it.

Especially Megan Fox <-- this chick is smoking hot

My wife worked at ILM and SkyWalker Sound (The Ranch) for 6 years. We were in SF a few weeks ago and got a private tour of the new ILM building in the Presidio, from some of her old colleagues that still work there. We saw all the drawings for this movie. The whole entire CG team was having a party, in anticipation for the release of this movie. It's amazing what humans can draw by hand and then turn into CG.

But the coolest part was going up to the actual Han Solo in Carbonite model, which they used in The Empire Strikes Back. Unfortunately, no camera's allowed or I would have taken a boat load of pix. George is really anal about that.

That's awesome cmans. Where does your wife work now? Being behind the scenes @ ILM must have been an experience. Especially to see all those artist celebrate the realization of their work.

And yeah, Transformers was the shit! Wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but I definitely wasn't disappointed.

The movie was good but a little disappointed. I think there was too much involvment in the transformations and I know it would not have been as cool but Bumblebee was not a camaro, he was a VW beetle.
