True, but Jeremy Clarkson wasn't too friendly to that Ford Lightning he test drove I seem to recall repeated use of the word "rubbish" LOL

I agree with you, but our trucks are a country mile away from yours, we have families now using them as they are very car like, take my Navara has more toys than the BMW as standard it is very refined and half the price of the 5iver !!!
Not only that but it isn't that far away from the RRS and that was ?50k or $80k in your money, they are now becoming a much loved, force in Europe!

That IS way better than what we have which get horrible gas mileage, terrible reliability, but will last you forever if you know how to maintain them. My second Jeep had a 70K mile warranty - radiator and thermostat went at 72K, and the transmission went at 79K. Gotta love that warranty, it's like it was planned!!

I agree, ours, mine is on a 18k service intervals it does 30mpg has 175bhp has every electronic that the BMW has and more full heated leather, 17" alloys, Sat Nav, etc you would not believe how good these are and can still carry a ton in the back, impressive stuff indeed, oh and we get a tax relief as they are supposed to be commercial vehicles

I agree with the warranty as you can guarantee the beggar falls to bits after its run out

I drive 2. One I already mod the crap out of and am on a forum called X5World. The other is a Durango which I have no desire to mod.
SUVs are trucks now ? When did that happen ?

Trucks are becoming more car like. I looked long and hard at a Lincoln before I bought my e60. I like the choice I made...knowing I have an F150 in the driveway for backup
