I'm hoping a SoCal member with an SB would mine lending me their SB for 10 minutes to try and diagnose if my SB is bad or if it's just a compatability issue where my car just will not respond well to an SB. I'll throw in some beer for anyone willing to help!

Thanks.

I believe the previous owner of your e60 had an SB and never had any problems with it + SB

hopefully the owner of friends of the owner will chime in....

Thanks Gene.

I'm hoping it's just a bad SB so I can swap it out for another one.

I had used a SB before and no problem, the only thing is that sometimes the engine/car jerks when I sometimes hesitate on the gas pedal. The car's got too much power. Hope your problems get resolve.

Hey El! I could lend you mine if you're willing to drive to OC. No CERVEZA necessary.

Contact member JWWindex.. He has one on his Auto 545i. I'm sure if you're willing to go to his shop in Bellflower, he'd let try his SB... i'll PM him for you.

Thanks Leggo and Frank!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now that I know the trans slam is back, I'll want to take care of that first. I wouldn't be surprised if the trans slam issue is what makes the car behave so strange with the SB...
