Good to know that. Hey, Scott. You might as well be the unofficial legal counsel of this forum.

I have inquiries out and hope to have some names for you tomorrow.
Here is what I did:
1. Sent an all attorneys email to my firm asking for a reference.
2. Emailed a friend of mine who is a partner at one of Philadephia's biggest firms asking for a reference.
3. Emailed a friend of mine who is one of the top divorce lawyers in New York City asking for a reference.
4. Emailed a contact of mine who is a respected lawyer in King of Prussia, Pa.
I should be able to get you some names with casting this net. If it does not get me some good names, there are other places I can reach out to.
I will keep you informed of progress. I am going away on vacation to Spain tomorrow evening but I will check E60.net and my emails from time to time.

WOW, thank you! You really didn't need to do that but thank you for doing it. Looking forward to your reply.
Barcelona huh, awesome, I spent some time there myself. If you can, go to the Artz hotel on the ocean there, simply awesome....worth the splurge for a night! Have fun and stay safe!

Funny you should say that about the hotel. My wife and I are staying at that hotel -- Hotel del Artes. It is a Ritz Carlton property. Thankfully you can cash in Marriott Rewards points at Ritz Carlton hotels. In 2007 and 2008 I stayed about 180 night in Marriott hotels taking and defending depositions and staying for a two month trial. I deliberately stayed only at Marriott to accumulate points. The Marriott Rewards program is very very generous.

I am an attorney, but domestic relations is not my bag.
But let's look at this pragmatically. You pay $600 / month for your daughter, and your daughter is with you half of the time. Using simple ciphering, you are paying $40/ day for every day that your child is with her mother. In the grand scheme of things, and all things being equal, given your respective incomes, that does not seem to be out of line.
I know that it's a difficult pill to swallow that your ex can't account for what she uses the support payments for . . . I hear this same lament from divorced friends and acquaintances.
Remember . . . . THEORETICALLY, the payment is for the support of your daughter. One can only hope that your ex uses the funds appropriately to enrich your daughter. I hate being a wet blanket, but I honestly believe that you don't have a snow ball's chance in hell of getting a reduction based on the circumstances you presented.
