What if I use Sonicare on my rims? Will it make them bling harder?
What additional/alternate uses can a 200-dollar toothbrush have to justify that price over the regular old manual brush?

i know it cost a lot, but it beats having to pay for dental work down the road
Anyways, I was skeptical as others because I really did not see the point of shelling out $200 for a TOOTHBRUSH. Well I got one as a gift and I can say that I would RUN to go and buy it if I did not have one. My dentist noticed a considerable change in my oral care and he attributed to using the toothbrush. It seems crazy but the toothbrush makes a HUGE difference! Buy it!!!!!!

I've used the Sonicare for a little over a year now, and the hygienist noticed a difference during my semi-annual cleanings. All you need is 2 minutes of brushing 2x/day. Your teeth will thank you.

Everyone, thank you so much for all the honest advice! I hadn't realized how much help I can get on something this unrelated on this forum!
Thank you, guys!
LOL you telling me? I've got like 3 grand worth of work I need to have done a loooooong time ago and I'm still too scared to dial the number and make the appointment. My goal is to try and get it done by the end of the year. I made a huge step this summer - finally found a great (read: not cheap either ) dentist in my area, who did two root canals for me already in June. Lifesaver! If anyone needs a great dentist in Brooklyn, let me know.
I was joking about the price. Guys, this whole thread is semi-joking, really. I knew about Sonicare a long time ago, I've been using Oral-B for a few years, but it broke on me. I decided to post this thread anyway and see what everyone thinks. I know 200 ain't small taters, but it sure is worth it - it was so with the Oral-B brush, so I'd imagine this one will be even better.
Now, that I got all interested in it though, is the Diamondclean worth the extra bucks over the Flexcare Plus? I figure, if it's that much better, then I might as well spend the extra couple of bucks - it lasts a few years, the cost over the few years will amortize, and if it's really that much better, it will definitely be worth it... sort of like when I was buying my 530Xi, I should have gotten a 535
