what about the pitstop for Massa Ferrari when it went on fire wow he was lucky too, that could have cost him the race
that fire must have at lest 13L of petro cos it only take 13L to 1sec to pump it out.

In fact it were a few drops. Not 13L LOL, otherwise it would have caught fire and needed alot of fire extinguishers to put it out. A few drops some times drop when they guy lifts the pump and some of them reach the exhaust and so it happened with Massa. They caught fire and also other drops from the panels caught fire, nothing serious really.

New rules for this season include a new fuel flap/cover on the cars. This thing may have got in the way and caught onto the fuel hose while it was being pulled away from the car.
I agree, this could have been a very dangerous situation and would have at least led him to pit if the flames continued. Alas, it was a very minor incident.

I think Felipe's tires were on fire the way he was driving at Catalunya and that may have ignited the fuel that spilled out.
