Years ago, my sister was dating a rich college student from UAE... he was the craziest driver I have ever been in a car with. He used to tell stories about how he and his buddies would drive their cars into each other over there, practically running each other off the road for fun.
He'd enumerate the cars he had totalled (a couple dozen), but due to his English, he used the word "cancelled" instead of totalled. He'd be looking into the air as he recalled the various cars... recounting each one and saying "cancelled" after all of them. It was actually kind of funny.
