I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or confusing GB with MB...

Ha! I would lean toward the sarcastic side, kind of like I can remember the first PC I owned. It had a 4 megs of ram and a 100 meg hard drive. An electrical engineer friend of mine was in awe. I vividly remeber him saying there is no way I would ever fill up that big a hard drive. I won't tell you how long ago that was...

I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic too but the absence of a smiley made me wonder just a little more...

Speaking of a long time ago, my first IBM PC-XT had like 32 or 64K of RAM and no hard drive, just two 5.25" floppy drives. Before that, I had a Radio Shack TRS-80 and had an Apple II+ with a Zilog Z80 processor card installed so I could run CP/M and programs like WordStar (which was, at the time, the coolest word processor ever -- it could make my daisywheel "letter quality" printer sing!) On the XT, I also had a 300 baud modem and I thought CompuServe and other local BBS systems were pretty much the cat's meow!

That list brought back a lot of memories, Rudy!!! I remember those days well and I still think they were the best days the home computing era. I had 16K of ram on my first computer. I taught myself assembly language on the Z80 before moving on up to bigger and better things - an Atari 800! Today's kit is way, way more powerful but I'll always look back most fondly on the kit I had as a teenager in the 1980's.

Ah yes, the dual 5.25 floppy IBM! What a joy that was in college compared to today's machines. Heck, we even had a Commadore 64 at home at one point when we were growing up. And CompuServe, good memories Rudy.
