Sounds like a pretty horrible day, at least the cop wasn't a total ass otherwise you'd be in pretty bad shape with that bottle lol. Pain meds = narcotics = damnnnnn you is screwed 
He probably went home and popped those pills, you'd be suprised how many law enforcement I know that take pain meds because of on the job injuries hah.

It's kinda funny that most people (I know that I do) take for granted that possession of prescription drugs that belong to someone else, even if it's your family member, is illegal. I used to go pick up stuff for my mom from my relative's pharmacy all the time and didn't think anything of it until I saw an episode on COPS where they arrested a lady for picking up her relatives medicine using their ID. Apparently the pharmacy called the cops. hahaha

The other day my wife was in pain and I offered her one of my hydrocodones (I dislocated my shoulder) and I remembered that if they gave her a urinalysis she would be processed as a drug user... It's crazy. Needless to say, I didn't let her take it.
