Well, at 11,800 miles, the twisties have claimed the lives of my rear OEM Contis. They are almost bald and need to be replaced.
Given my driving habits, I go through tires very fast. Accordingly, I will probably get the General Exclaim UHPs next. Is there any reason why that would be a mistake? I am not getting the Michelin PS2s given their high price and low treadwear rating (I'd burn through those in 10K miles).

Interesting. It seems that the Generals have the highest treadware rating (which is very attractive) but a good number of folks reviewing them complained that the sidewall is too flexible (not good especially for the twisties).

I definitely can't say that about the Michelins, mine are extremely grippy in any situation. That said, they are roughly double the price of the Generals, the Hankook would probably offer more grip at a price much less than the Michelins. Good luck Scott
The Generals are very well liked on Tire Rack but the flexible sidewall issue has been a bit concerned given my love of the twisties. I'd be interested to see what some of the enthusiasts here think who have taken different summer tires through the twisties.
