1st thing to do is unplug the battery.
01. Before the change.

07. Use a card and a fork to take off the needles, don't use too much force cos they will brake very easy.

Awesome mate! Very scary for someone like me, but very, very cool. I might build up the courage at some point to do it.

Cheers

Im up for the challenge, WHO'S IN????
Now i just need some time, looks pretty time consuming...

As far as the white paint goes, you used glossy white, or a color of your preference with GLOSS??

Pingu, the procedure little bit mix up . Should done point 12 and point 13 top first before point 7.

After waited the paint fully dry, reverse the procedure but please not put the needle first.

1. Connect the cluster without glass cover and need.
2. Connect back the battery
3. Turn key on to position 2
4. Back to position 1, then all needle should on zero level
5. Pull back the needle and turn key to position 2 then position 1 to verify the needle on correct postion or not
6. If needle postion correct then turn off key
7. un-plug battery
8. un-plug cluster back side connect
9. cover back the cluster cover.
10. plug back battery and become finish.

I am so lazy which just use the red color permenant marker repaint the needle back, if not the needle still orange incolor while light on.
I haven't paint the back ring which keep on black in color, but when light on become a white ring. if not the needle still orange incolor while turn on.

Good luck for every buddies

Nice DIY pingy, just one question is it possible to try a different color besides white maybe blue? white is nice too, but if I commit to doing this I would like to try something different. What type #'s are the led?
