we usually use a flathead wrapped in a microfiber towel for the roundels on hood and trunk. the one for the steering wheel sticks onto the original roundel, since the original roundel is part of the airbag. thanks again man

Be very careful, I used a credit card and the entire circle around it is all scratched, and when I was attempting to use a tool to remove it with a towel around it, it slipped and caused a large sratch.

Dang, Really? I thought it came off? Mine has a big dent in it. I was looking forward to popping that thing off and replacing it with something cool... Are you positive about this?

I had to replace the hood emblem a month or two ago. I used a plastic tool with a blunt edge from a computer tool kit to gently lift the edge of the emblem and had so scratching of the paint. I then used 4 inner threads about 18 to 24 inches long from some parachute cord I had laying around, I placed two of these threads over the top edge to the emblem and the other two on the bottom edge and had them meet in the middle. I gathered up the threads and then pulled firmly, that puppy came off straight away.
Once the old emblem was removed I cleaned out any dirt and debris that had gathered beneath it. For grins I put two coats of wax on the emblem area. I replaced the two rubber grommets, then firmly pressed in the new emblem and that was it. Job done.
