BMW programmed my car with the old LCM. Headlights work perfect. Taillight rods do not light up. DUnno wtf is the problem. Of course we then use the new lcm and then program again. Same thing happened. Taillight rods do not light up.

With the old and new LCM, taillight rods light up for a split second and turns off. The inner bulb light is lit on very dim. And I also get the brake lights and taillamp malfunction. Anybody know what could be the problem?

I am using euro tails. Mebbe that could be a reason. Gonna find one of my buddies with US tails and see if it fixed the problems. Second option is to use bruce cables and see if it fixes problem. Well, good news is I can return the LCM. LOL. Bad news is I cant find the receipt.

There is absolutely no difference between the EU or US lights expect the colour of the Turn LEDs. There is something else that is wrong. Are you sure you rewired the LCM as per the instructions?

benand told me that i must have flip flopped the cables. i'll recheck it later at the dealers. If that's the case, call me an idiot. I am a tad color blind so might have mixed up the stupid wires.

btw, i love you guys. everyone helps out like family!
