Wide Angle Side Mirror Group Buy?
#1
Who here can get us a wide angle side mirror (EU Spec) from Europe? As I understand it, they're about $320USD but they're not available from US Dealers. I've got these for my e39 and they're a lifesaver.
Thanks,
Ben

I'm interested in this as well.

Yes the wide angle mirrors are lifesavers for blindspots, and my BMW can't get them either!! If you find some let me know too. (I had to buy cheap spot mirrors at auto zone for 7.00! They work, but...)

This was easily available for the E39s. I wonder why it's a bit more challenging for our E60s. Leads anyone?

Ok, tomorrow, I will send a message to BMW here and ask about prices.
WARNING: when I originally asked my dealership's parts department about M5 mirrors for my E61 last December, they told me to sit down before telling me the prices.
If memory serves me, just the auto-dimming glass was approximately 400 Euros PER MIRROR.
VAT is 22% as well here in Soviet Finland.
Anyway, all we can do is ask. There may also be a cheaper, non-Finland option as well.
I will let you know more news tomorrow.
