Hi Everyone
We will have a unit in the next 2 week that is PAL/NTSC and you can change the size of the screen from 6.5 to 8.8 via remote.
Thanks Dominic of www.TVandNav2Go.com

I?d be in too but got no answer in the other thread. Currently I?m using an 6,5" and maybe changing to 8,8 next year. So I?d need a mod that provides both sizes. I?m not shure of changing to navi pro so I?d love to have one for both monitors. If so, is the DC connector now also plug and play?

Hi Dom,

do you mean you can use only 6,5" of your screen for TV/DVD and have the i-drive running on the right 2,3" portion ?

Hi Lucky
No. This is just so I wont have to stock 2 different units (6.5 and 8.8). The current units are 1 for 6.5 and 1 for 8.8.
Thanks Dominic

Hi Everyone
The current units are NTSC/Pal 6.5 or 8.8. The combo unit (6.5" and 8.8" in 1 unit) really has NO advantage to the end customer. The only purpose it really has is so I don't have to stock 2 different versions.
Thanks Dominic of www.TVandNav2Go.com

Hi everyone,
I don't understand this whole ntsc/pal thing you guys have going on?
I want to get the system as well...
I live in Canada and i'm getting a 2006 525i with the navigation system meaning I will probably get the 8.8'' screen.
Now my car will only be delivered in December but I don't mind getting this system now.
How will it work? Will it be simple for me or a shop to do?
Will I be able to use an ipod as well? Do i get the dvd player as well.
Any info would be helpful...
But i'm in guys...
Let me know.
