Hello fellow e60 members,
I've taken the initiative to contact Swift Motorsports to organize a group buy for their motorized license plate.
It is a stealth license plate holder which will hide/reveal the license plate in less than 3 seconds. *Please watch the video in the link below*

The original MSRP is $180 shipped, and they're currently doing a special $150 shipped to the lower 48 states.
Sean from Swift Motorsports stated the following.
If we get.........
10 commiters would be 130 each.
15 commiters would be 135 each.
20 commiters would be 130 each.
and i'm guessing if we get like 25 or 30 maybe we can grab a further discount.
I will contact Sean again if we happen to reach that number.
Note that : Alaska and Hawaii and Canadians will get charged an additional shipping premium (Which sadly includes me but oh well)
The Premium will be approximately 22-32$, Sean said he would have to find out.

My Ride: I have an 05 545i. It's a manual with a few options. This is my first BMW but I don't know how I'll ever be able to switch to something else.
Damn, i've always though about making one of these, especially for the rear. It reminds me from something out of a Bond movie, but unfortunately i'm not going to pay $100+

You may want to contact Altec Products here in MN to get a better price as they are the manufacturer of the Show-n-Go powered license plate transport that Swift sells. I ordered this product from Swift and it was shipped directly from Altec Products. I could have just drove 30min and picked the damn thing up instead of waiting 3 weeks.

But altec doesnt offer them for online purchase for some reason. (Or am i blind
